Project Interviews Nadine Strossen

On April 14, the Project interviewed Nadine Strossen, the President of the American Civil Liberties Union, about the ACLU lawsuit over a FOIA request for documents pertaining to interrogation at Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib. Strossen said that the successful lawsuit had produced "about thirty thousand pieces of paper," including FBI emails suggesting serious conflicts between the FBI and DOD regarding interrogation tactics.
On another note, the Project screened the DVD at George Washington University on April 12, ending the series of screening and talks for the 2004-2005 academic year. Summer talks and those for the 2005-2006 academic year are being scheduled now: contact us at getonthebus@guantanamobile.org if you are interested.
